On June 5th, 2008 we visited the Burns Unit at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and presented a cheque for $30,000. The Ride – 2008

8th – 11th April 2008 we rode over 400km in 4 days from Sydney to Wagga Wagga to raise funds for the Burns Unit at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and raise fire prevention awareness.   At the end of each days ride, with the help of the local fire brigade we promoted the importance of smoke alarms, and demonstrated what NOT to do in a kitchen fire!!!   After riding 440km in 17hrs over 4 days, whilst battling the elements, mechanical problems and succumbing to over 30 punctures.
